TAMKO TEAMS WITH TIGER CLAW TO DEVELOP HIDDEN DECK FASTENER
Designed exclusively for EverGrain

JOPLIN, Mo. – January 20, 2009 – TAMKO Building Products, Inc. has teamed with Tiger Claw Inc. to develop EG 1-2-3, an exclusive hidden deck fastener designed specifically for TAMKO’s popular EverGrain composite decking collection.

E G 1-2-3 provides a solution for securing EverGrain with no visible fasteners, improving the overall appearance of an EverGrain deck. With the help of EG 1-2-3, which requires no special tools and is designed exclusively for EverGrain, installing EverGrain composite decking with hidden fasteners is now easier and more convenient.

“Our customers regularly ask which hidden fastener we recommend for use with our EverGrain collection,” said Stephen McNally, vice president of sales and marketing for TAMKO. “EG 1-2-3 is the answer our customers have been looking for.”

EG 1-2-3 is made from durable, corrosion resistant, Magni 599 coated steel and is paired with ACQ compliant screws. EG 1-2-3 has been tested to ASTM E 330 as well. The hidden fastener is light-weight and performs well in a variety of temperatures and climates.

EG 1-2-3 will be offered in two convenient packaging options - one which provides coverage for 50 square feet of EverGrain decking and the other which will provide coverage for 350 square feet of EverGrain decking.
