Awaflex FR is a lightweight, highly flexible SBS modified cap sheet constructed with a non-woven polyester mat.

The mat is saturated with asphalt, coated on both sides with fire-resistant SBS rubber modified asphalt and then surfaced with ceramic granules for protection from ultraviolet degradation.
