Installation ease and convenience
- Well-defined nailing zone ensures proper nail application
- Preformed Lamarite® Slate Hip & Ridge Shingles and preformed Lamarite® Slate Starter Course Shingles are available
- Spacer tabs for correct shingle placement
- 7", 7-½" and 8" exposure marks to help create the desired exposure length
- Easier to cut compared to real slate
- A centerline mark for proper shingle alignment
- Can be fastened by pneumatic nail gun or by hand with two corrosion–resistant roofing nails per shingle
Important notes
- The use of snow guards must be utilized in areas where snow and ice accumulate
- Increased variation in color uniformity may occur to Lamarite® shingles in the vicinity of exposed copper or other metals
