Designed for use as a base sheet over nailable decks or insulation prior to the SBS-modified cap sheet of BUR-systems. Conforms to TAMKO’s tradition of quality, consistency and performance.

Type 43 Coated Base Sheet

  • Premium-quality organic base sheet coated with weathering-grade asphalt
  • High tensile strength, excellent tear and nail pull-through resistance
  • Will not hump, buckle, ridge or curl when nailed
  • Use as nailed base ply in select modified specifications
  • Hot asphalt or mechanical fasteners
