The Communications Department works daily with members of the local and national media on stories that highlight the nation's building materials industry.

TAMKO Wins National Eddy Award From Pensions & Investments
JOPLIN, Mo. – April 12, 2011 – TAMKO has been awarded the 2011 Eddy Award in the Conversion category for employers with fewer than 5,000 employees.
The Eddy Awards are sponsored by Pensions & Investments – the international newspaper of money management – and were created to recognize plan sponsors' outstanding efforts to educate employees about how to invest their defined contribution plan assets wisely for retirement. TAMKO was named one of three finalists for the national award in January.
This award recognizes TAMKO for its campaign, both in print and online, devoted to explaining the transition to a new service provider for its retirement plans to its employees.
