Tam-Rail Undergoes Design Makeover, Adds New Colors
JOPLIN, Mo. – April 26, 2011 – Triple-layer Tam-Rail railing was already light-weight and durable, but the second generation of TAMKO Building Product, Inc.’s railing line now matches that durability with its aesthetics.
TAMKO is offering two new colors – grey and taupe – in addition to the original white Tam-Rail line. Some additional pieces have also been added to make the line more versatile and beautiful.
“This is a whole new combination of strength and beauty,” said Stephen McNally, vice president of sales and marketing. “Now when customers look at Tam-Rail, all they will see is their beautifully-seamless railing system.”
The new generation of Tam-Rail includes bracket covers so installation screws will be completely hidden. The post mount system has also been re-engineered to make it more durable and versatile in a variety of mounting applications. The new post mount system has been tested in concrete, wood deck and composite systems.
And Tam-Rail has never been easier to install. New this year are fixed-angle bracket adapters to eliminate hand cutting angled pieces to fit. The new brackets come in fixed angles of 45 degrees and 22.5 degrees.
The second generation of the railing system is also more versatile. Stair kits previously available only for 30 to 32 degree angles will now be available from 30 to 41 degrees to fit a wider variety of staircases.
Tam-Rail’s height offerings will continue to be offered in both 42-inches and 36-inches. As a further enhancement, the railing sections will now be available in 10-foot sections to go along with the original 6- and 8-foot sections.
The second generation of Tam-Rail is available nationwide. For more information about Tam-Rail, visit www.TAMKO.com.
