Buildings experience aging factors differently, so it is difficult to predict how long building products will last.
That’s why TAMKO provides a limited warranty for many products, that includes a binding arbitration clause and other
terms and conditions which are incorporated herein by reference. You may obtain a copy of the Limited Warranty below
or by calling 1-800-641-4691.
Certain colors and products may not be available in your area. Check with your local distributor/dealer for
availability.
Prior to making your final color selection, TAMKO recommends viewing an actual roof installation of the same
shingle color and manufacturing plant you are considering for the full impact of color blending and patterns.
House photography throughout this website may have been digitally modified or created using photographs of
actual shingles. Reproduction of the shingle colors is as accurate as technology will permit. Prior to
installing the shingles, open a bundle and view a few of the shingles to be certain it is the color you
selected. TAMKO will not be responsible for color claims once the shingles are installed on a roof.
Enhanced Limited System Warranties
TAMKO enhanced limited system warranties are eligible exclusively on qualifying installations that meet specific requirements, including but not limited to:
- Properly installed by a current TAMKO Certified Contractor, eligible to offer that specific warranty type
- Full tear off or all new roofing installations over all roof planes of the building only
- TAMKO® product(s) installed are part of the list of eligible TAMKO® shingles and accessories
- Timely completion and delivery to TAMKO of all required TAMKO documents and forms
- Enhanced limited warranty must be registered by the installing TAMKO Certified Contractor with TAMKO within 90 days of installation
TAMKO’s enhanced limited warranties provide extended Full Start® non-prorated warranty periods on qualifying installations. The enhanced limited warranty is issued by TAMKO to the property owner with no separate charge following timely registration by the TAMKO Certified Contractor. A TAMKO enhanced limited warranty replaces the standard limited warranty available on the TAMKO® shingle wrappers.
The official fully executed enhanced limited warranty applicable to each specific and qualifying installation is emailed to the property owner once the TAMKO Certified Contractor meets all eligibility requirements and timely registers the enhanced limited warranty. That document should be retained by the property owner along with their proof of purchase of the qualifying TAMKO® products and warranty registration number for their records. Property owners can request a replacement enhanced limited warranty document for their records by sending a request to TAMKOEdge@tamko.com.
