TAMKO Ennis Celebrates 25 Years of Success

TAMKO highlights Ennis facility and recognizes team members for safety achievements and employee dedication
TAMKO Ennis 25th Anniversary

TAMKO Building Products LLC is honored to recognize its Ennis, Texas manufacturing facility for 25 years of success and celebrate the employees who made this milestone achievement possible. TAMKO marked the official anniversary on October 2, 2021 and the facility will be celebrating with an employee appreciation cookout.

Since TAMKO acquired the plant in 1996, the company has made significant investments to upgrade the facility. Several members from TAMKO’s Ennis team have witnessed the transformation of the facility from day one, and TAMKO is proud to have these same colleagues continue their commitment today. More than 80 percent of the Ennis team members have worked at TAMKO for 20 years or more.

“The Ennis team is dedicated to safety, teamwork and long-term commitment, which has resulted in 25 years of success,” said David Humphreys, TAMKO’s Chairman and CEO. “We’ve come a long way from where we began at the Ennis facility, and none of it would have been possible without the talented and hard-working people who make TAMKO a success every day.”

The Ennis team’s commitment to safety, a core value at TAMKO, has earned the facility national recognition multiple times over the years by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) through its annual Accident Prevention Contest. In recent years, Ennis has been a repeat recipient of ARMA’s Perfect Safety Certificate, an award that recognizes a facility for no lost or restricted days AND no reportable OSHA incidents in the previous year.
