TAMKO’s popular waterproofing product, TW Seam Tape, has earned not only a solid reputation among contractors, but a spot in the top 40 roofing products of 2019 by a leading construction industry
magazine. As a part of TAMKO’s full line of waterproofing products, TW Seam Tape is used to close sheathing gaps on roof decks and also features an innovative design highlighting its ability to resist water entry and withstand high wind events.
“TW Seam Tape is a product that professionals can feel confident about providing to homeowners, and we’re proud of the success that contractors have had with the product,” said Stephen McNally, TAMKO Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Changes to some local building codes and a new emphasis by inspectors in some states put a new focus on seam tape in 2019 and contractors who have used TAMKO’s TW Seam Tape have had high praise for the product.
TAMKO Pro Certified Contractor Neil Cunningham from Cunningham & Sons said, “After using other brands’ roof seam tape, I’ve come to the conclusion that TAMKO TW Seam Tape far exceeds everyone else’s product.”
TW Seam Tape is designed for application on a variety of surfaces, including OSB and plywood, and meets building code regulations in some areas along the Northeast where deck tape on sheathing gaps is required for all roofing installations. In addition
to meeting demand for building codes, contractors have highly praised TAMKO’s TW Seam Tape for its superior performance, durability and ease of installation.
This popular product will be featured with a new interactive, hands-on display at the International Builders’ Show for building professionals to experience in person.
